Kitchens, diners and breakfast rooms are promoted as important social spaces and separate lounges and media rooms are well placed for children's engagement. All homes have safe bathrooms fitted with modern facilities. We want the children and young people to understand that this is their home and not just another placement. We seek to provide an environment that makes them feel safe and secure.

Our teams are all dedicated to providing high quality and bespoke care.. Continuous training is delivered to the highest standards, working with experts to ensure that all information and training is updated, relevant and designed to equip our teams to understand and meet the needs of children and young people in our care.

Our Ethos

  • Our Ethos of Care

The safeguarding and welfare of the young people in our care is our absolute number one priority. Whilst ensuring their safety and stability we develop their social, emotional and mental well-being to enable them to have a fulfilling and positive life in their community.

  • Only Outstanding

Outstanding effort and standards are the minimum requirement of everything we do to deliver the best possible positive outcomes for our young people.

  • Safeguarding First

First and foremost, we are committed to keeping young people safe and protected from all forms of abuse and harm. We ensure this through thorough risk assessments for each child and young person and by keeping each risk assessment current and reflective of their needs.

  • Positive sense of self

Understanding, empathising and encouraging a positive sense of self is paramount to each child’s development. We look to evidence this and by responding to children and young people’s individuality and treating them with dignity and respect, we will progress.

  • Confidence to express

Valuing and encouraging the free expression of every child and young person’s views, wishes and feelings. We support and engage with children and young people regularly through key working sessions and informal and relaxed in house consultations to provide them with an opportunity to express their views.

  • Engagement, Care and Support

To underpin each young person's development we encourage their engagement with the home by linking them with an independent advocate to express their voice in their care and planning and reviewing of meetings. We work in close partnership with placing authorities and other external agencies to ensure that educational and social needs of each child and young person are met.

  • Positively taking steps

Through positive reinforcement, however subtle, we encourage, support and reward positive behaviour and increase social awareness skills and encourage positive stable peer relationships. We promote in house and outdoor activities and encourage children and young people to establish and engage in hobbies of their interest.

  • Talent Led Teams

We hire people that passionately care about children and young people safety, wellbeing and development. Our leadership and management team are determined, qualified and experienced in maintaining a stable, professional, fully trained workforce.
